Referral Program Terms

1. Overview
Washermann may offer rewards to customers, Vendors, and Reps for referring new, qualifying users to the Platform. Participation means you accept these terms, the Terms of Service, and the WashPoints & Wallet Terms.
2. How referrals work
- A referrer shares a referral code/link. A referee who signs up using it and qualifies (completes the defined action, e.g. a first order, or vendor approval) triggers a reward.
- Reward type (WashPoints or cash), amount, and conditions are displayed in the app and set by Washermann.
3. Reward rates can change — and can be corrected
- Reward rates and rules may be changed, paused, or ended at any time. Changes apply prospectively to referrals created after the change.
- Rewards recorded at an incorrect rate due to configuration or system error may be corrected by Washermann — including reducing, reversing, or adjusting amounts already credited — to the intended rate. We will act reasonably and, where practicable, give notice.
- A reward is only earned when its conditions are fully met and it is validated by Washermann.
4. Eligibility & anti-abuse (rewards are void if…)
Rewards are void, and accounts may be suspended, where there is:
- self-referral or referring accounts you control;
- fake, duplicate, or bot accounts, or fabricated vendors/orders;
- collusion, incentivised-but-inactive signups, or circumventing limits;
- use of misleading claims to obtain signups;
- any breach of these terms or the Platform rules.
5. Caps & limits
We may cap the number or value of rewards per user, per period, or per program, and may require minimum referee activity before a reward unlocks.
6. Payment of rewards
- Customer rewards are credited as WashPoints.
- Vendor/Rep referral rewards accrue to their Naira earnings and are paid via the payout process in their respective agreements.
- Rewards pending validation may be shown as "pending" and are not payable until validated.
7. Tax
Recipients are responsible for any taxes on rewards.
8. Termination & changes
We may modify or terminate the program at any time. Rewards validly earned before termination are honoured, subject to §3.
